About Me.

For 20 years I worked in the medical world as a medical imaging technologist, all the while experiencing my own chronic pain in one form or another. When I finally got relief after reading Dr. John Sarno’s books on TMS (tension myositis syndrome) and the mindbody approach in 2016, I knew that I could never go back to my old career or to my old way of thinking about chronic pain. I started my life over, intent on providing to others what I needed when I was healing: someone who fully understands the mindbody process and is also trained in therapy.

In 2021, I completed comprehensive training and certification in clinical psychologist Dr. Dan Ratner’s 3-columns approach to treating chronic symptoms, and in the Spring of 2024 I completed a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, with a focus on Mental Health Counseling. Since 2016, I have overcome a fibromyalgia diagnosis, unexplained stomach pain, neck pain, pain and tingling down my arms from “degenerative disc disease,” “bone-on-bone” knee pain (after a compound leg fracture and 3 surgeries), “tarlov cyst disease”(which left me bedridden for 3 years!), tendonitis/tennis elbow (for 8 years!), shoulder pain (along with huge painful knots in my back!), foot pain, heel pain, hand pain, headaches, back pain, sciatica, tinnitus, and more.

Since I began working with clients in the 3-columns approach, I have helped others to overcome emotional dysregulation, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, food allergies, chronic constipation, and many forms of chronic pain symptoms, to understand themselves in a way they had never thought possible, and to live in true alignment with who they have always wanted to be.

I encourage everyone to see a medical doctor - or even better, a mindbody-trained physician - to rule out any life-threatening disease, illnesses, or processes. Once you have done that, we can get to work on mastering your symptoms. While this work can be therapeutic in its effect, it is not considered therapy, since it is largely about providing you with information and interpreting the meaning behind your symptoms. I offer hour-long one-on-one coaching sessions via Zoom using the 3-columns approach. Let’s connect and figure out how I can best help you! Call or email me and we can set up a free 30 minute phone call or zoom session to discuss what you need and get your questions answered. Phone: (808) 647-4831 or Email: mgwebstermindbody@gmail.com
